About Adam’s Race Across America
The Race Across America (RAAM) is arguably the most compelling goal in endurance sports. RAAM is a grueling 3,000 mile transcontinental race that follows the same course as RAW, but is only just warming up when it reaches Durango. The RAAM course continues on for more than 2,000 more miles and crosses 8 more states before finally reaching the finish on the docks of Annapolis, Maryland. The clock doesn’t stop until the east coast. For solo entrants, this is a race of continuous cycling (22 hours of riding and 300+ miles a day) performed with minimal sleep.
Adam and crew completed the journey in 2015, 10 days 15 hours and 53 minutes after they set out from the Oceanside Pier on the Pacific Ocean.
Stay tuned as we will be adding stories, photos and videos from the race, as well as announcing what’s next!
